Supplies: Foam plate, acrylic paint, paint brush, scissors and pencil.
1.) Cut a portion of the plate, in any shape you like. Keep in mind that it doesn’t have to be perfect.
2.) Using the pencil, draw an image or write a quote – whatever floats your boat (that was not an intention rhyme, but I’m going with it). Remember, if you decide to write words, they must be written backwards in order for them to make sense once the stamp is done.
3.) Using the acrylic paint and paint brush, paint over your penciled image.
4.) Once the image has been painted, its ready to be stamped. I used a piece of black card stock to see my final results.
Finished project!
If you’re crafting, scrapbooking or just being creative, this is a great and cheap way to make your stamps original. You can also wash them off and reuse them if you choose.
